ABSTRACT
The paper presents results of crushing system analysis, that is used as subsystem in the Lubin ore
mine processing installation. Crushing effect was measured with average particle size in final crushing product
of carbonate (I) and sandstone (II) ore subsystems. Impact of the crushing circuit looping, used to
avoid oversize in the final product, as well as effect of modernizing of processing machinery on system
efficiency has been studied. Simulations showed that looped circuits, against unlopped, reduce twice the
average grain size in the final product. Even the production cost per unit capacity $/m3 is decreased by
28%, or twice of that relating to the size reduction ratio.
