The article presents the problem of expansion of the mine Wieśnica as a sustainable investment in safety aspects. It systematizes the concept if HSE as a responsible business relationships. Local and environmental conditions affecting investment decision are identified, restricting expansion of the mine. The authors underline the importance of safety in the endeavour of mining investment to modify the system using Lokotrack crushing and conveyor transport. They discuss the scope of technical projects limiting nuisance processing plant and transportation expeditionary. Attention was paid to the share of expenditure aimed at improving the safety level of investment for the expansion of the mine, as a sustainable business.
