Laboratory measurements of the force centering the belt

ABSTRACT
The paper deals with the design and the laboratory tests of the stand used to measurement the friction force centering the belt. This force is generated on the cylindric surface of a skewed roller. Laboratory tests were carried out for various values of belt speed, pressure force and the skew angle of the idler axis relative to the direction of belt movement.
