Low frequency noise in rock mining industry

This article presents the approximate characteristics and areas of occurence of low frequency noise in the natural and work environment. It draws attention to the imprecise definition of the phenomenon and the lack of legal regulations concerning the assessment of human exposure to this factor. It also contains information about the state of knowledge of the impact of this factor to the human body.
