ABSTRACT
The article presents the main problems related to the implementation of Council Directive 98/24/EC on the risk of silica dust. NEPSI agreement being discussed and its commitments are presented as a result of signing the agreement by the European Association of Mining Industries (Euromines) and the resulting obligations of manufacturers.
