The article presents possibilities of implementation of the dimensional analysis in the investigations of belt inclination resistance on conveyor drums. In the aim of decreasing of belt conveyor energy consumption one is looking for the reducing of their main and concentrated resistances. The belt inclination resistances, treated as concentrated ones in underground mine conveyors have an essential influence on dimensioning of their drives with relatively little averages and numerous drums. On the way of experimental investigations one has been searching the possibilities of more precise estimation of these resistances to assure the optimal drive construction features.
