Rock raw materials resources and output in Świętokrzyskie region in 2009-2013 with demand forecasts

ABSTRACT
The changes in rock raw materials reserves in Świętokrzyskie region in 2009–2013 have been presented in the paper. The most important producers have been listed and the dynamics of rock raw materials exploitation for aggregate and cement production have been discussed. Aggregate demand for domestic and local road infrastructure, railway infrastructure and construction industry investments have been presented. As extraction of limestones and marls for the cement industry is significant in the region, foreseen consumption of cement have been pointed out.
