ABSTRACT
The article discusses the concept of sustainable development and the need for its implementation in the mining industry enterprises. It defines each group of companies’ stakeholders and sets gauges measuring their expectations. Additionally, it shows the impact of the financial, environmental and social determinants of building company’s value for its stakeholders. The advantages of doing business in a responsible, socially acceptable manner using an integrated reporting system have also been shown in the article. Implementation of sustainable development policies are discussed on the basis of Lublin Coal mining company "Bogdanka" S.A.
