ABSTRACT
Source of inspiration to write the article were relations between stone aggregate market and processing technologies. In the article use of mobile processing devices is shown during construction works in Pi awa Górna quarry. The stress is put on mobile plants’ assets derived from their basic feature – flexibility that enables production of aggregate almost in every spatial and time circumstances. Readers’ attention is drawn to business advantages that are effect of proper usage of mobile processing sets. The article is also an attempt to answer the question: what influence on choice of specific technology an implemented strategy of company’s development has. The text also includes explanation for choosing stationary processing plant by DSS SA as target basic solution for production determining highest market quality standards in the strategy implemented by the investor for sustaining market’s leader position among stone aggregate producers.
